Todd's greatest satisfaction over his career had been to help his clients pursue their most important financial and life goals.
His career has spanned the five best consecutive years in the stock market dating back to the go-go dot com days of the nineties through the worst decade on record including the dot com bubble burst, 9/11, and the Great Recession. These experiences and their lessons serve as a backdrop from which his perspectives and advice emanate.
As a Certified Financial Planner®, he is committed to serving and advising his clients from a planning perspective and allowing that plan to dictate the portfolio. Todd's advice incorporates the following major principles: an overriding but not naïve faith in the future, coupled with patience and discipline, which are then applied with the time-tested practices of proper asset allocation, diversification, and monitoring.
Todd works with select families, individuals, and businesses, primarily in West Michigan but also around the country, specializing in:
- comprehensive financial and retirement planning
- lump sum rollovers
- inheritance
- business continuation and succession planning
- charitable intent planning
- qualified retirement plans for companies
Todd's advisory career began in 1994 and he holds the Certified Financial Planner certification and Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor designation.
